Feeding the Kittens

Hungry kittens!

When we started working to save animals in Lowndes County, kittens only had a 90% chance of making it out of the shelter alive. Through tireless work, spay/neuter efforts, and the dedicated partnership of our organization and the shelter staff, we have been able to flip the statistics and now kittens have almost a 90% chance of making it out alive! In 2020 alone, we have taken in over 350 cats and kittens! These animals eat a lot and go through supplies quickly, and we need your help to keep them happy and healthy!

Below you will see some information regarding how much supplies kittens require and how you can help

How can I help?

It’s no secret that we are in need of supplies all the time. At any given time, we have about 50 cats and kittens in our building and more in foster homes. We go through about 40-50 cans of kitten food every day! You can help by purchasing some of the things on our Amazon Wishlist, setting you amazon account up to “subscribe” to an order to send us supplies consistently, dropping off donations at our building, or by donating monthly or just one time towards the purchase of more supplies.

Thank you!

We cannot thank our generous supporters enough for all they do to make our life saving work possible. We have saved almost 600 animals already in 2020, and we are on our way to making Lowndes County a No Kill Zone! We are so blessed to receive supply donations, that we thankfully have the things we need in stock most of the time. When we don’t have to spend money on supplies, we are able to use that money on vetting, transporting animals to other no kill rescues, helping members of our community in need, and so much more! Your support, no matter how big or small makes a huge difference in the lives of animals that we are saving daily. So, from the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU!
