Boots and Cole

Boots and Cole: Best Friends
Boots: Orange Tabby, Cole: Black.
We are sad to say that these two babies are back at the Humane Society. They first came to us from two different litters in the early summer of 2016. The rest of their brothers and sisters found their homes, but they weren’t so lucky. But through waiting to find their families, they formed a very strong bond! Because of this, they need to be adopted out together, which makes it difficult. They were adopted out about a year ago, but unfortunately were returned. They were clearly sad and felt abandoned by who they thought was their family! Over several months, we loved on them and worked with them to help them feel safe again. And they were adopted in October! We were so thrilled, we thought that was it and they would finally feel the furever love they deserved! But unfortunately, they came back again. They are once again looking for a family that will see past the hurt and the sadness and take them home! They must be adopted together, preferably to a quieter home with no other animals where they can have all the time they need to heal. They are extremely sweet, but are not as cuddly and known to crawl in your lap as some other cats may be. If you are looking for two play buddies that promise to try really hard to be the best cats, please message us or visit to meet them!
