Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we are currently unable to have volunteers in our building. But we hope to soon have you back and we will need all the help we can get! Please feel free to register to volunteer, and we will contact you when we are open again to get you started.
Thank you for your interest in volunteering! Our volunteers are the backbone of the HSVL. Without the help of our volunteers we would not be able to run our rescue!
There are many things you can do to be a part of furthering our mission of becoming a “No Kill” zone. We need volunteers for animal fostering, help with caring for cats at our office, clerical office work, transportation of animals, food and supplies, and volunteers for our Trap-Neuter-Return program.
We cannot accommodate latecomers. If you cannot attend Mondays at noon, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will work with your schedule.
*We cannot accept volunteers 14 and under at this time. They are more than welcome to visit with the cats during visitation hours, Monday through Friday, 9am to 2pm with a guardian!
*The HSVL reserves the right to discontinue/terminate volunteer relationship at any time for any reason.
