S.N.A.P. (Spay Neuter Assistance Program)

To qualify for the Humane Society's low-cost spay & neuter program, your total annual household income must be under $80,000. If it is over $80,000, we offer a $25 off coupon.

Prices
Cats Male - $35 Female - $50
Dogs Male - $55 Female - $60

Additional charges that may occur, and are paid by you directly to the vet:

  • If females are pregnant(dog), pregnant(cat), or in heat, there is an additional charge that starts at $15.
  • If males have a retained testicle, there is an additional charge that starts at $25.
  • Rabies vaccinations are mandatory in Georgia. If your dog or cat is not vaccinated or needs an update shot, this can be done before or during the surgery. This fee is payable directly to the vet, $12-18. If your pet is current on rabies, you will need to take the rabies certificate with you the morning of your pet's surgery.
  • Most of the prices we have worked out with the vets are related to the surgery; however, we have also worked out a price for Leukemia/Aids testing for cats ($22) and Heartworm testing for dogs ($15). If you chose to have these tests done, they must be pre-paid through the Humane Society (included in the spay/neuter prices listed above).
