"Free to Good Home" Can Be A Death Sentence for Your Pet
Unfortunately, "free" is too often seen as "worthless" in the eye of the beholder. This is how some people see your "free" pet:
- FREE bait to train fighting dogs and greyhounds
- FREE snake food
- FREE sacrifice for satanic rituals
- FREE animal for malicious pranks
- FREE to a good home to breed indiscriminately
- FREE fish bait
- FREE money from the research lab
- FREE animal to set on fire
- FREE animal to insert firecracker into
- FREE to sell for drug money
Please don’t offer your pets "Free To Good Home" unless you just don’t care what happens to them. Volunteers who work endless hours to save pets from the horrors of abuse and homelessness bring this message to you.
NOTE: Animal "hoarders" or "collectors" also get their pets from "free to good home" ads. Animal hoarders are people who have an obsession with collecting animals. These people have a mental illness and feel they are helping animals when in reality they are causing great pain and suffering. Animal hoarders have been found with 300 or more animals in their homes. Feces, urine, and dead carcasses are found in these homes. The conditions are horrific. Please do not give your pets away without screening potential adopters thoroughly.
