The Great Kennel Caper!
The Kennel Caper is a celebration of Pet Ownership. Pets need love, training, stimulation and exercise. While we are away at work, school , or recreation they are at home awaiting our return. The Kennel Caper will have treats for pets and people, arts & crafts, and entertainment. We will, of course, have our foster pets available for viewing, and information on other Humane Society programs. We also have Humane Society cookbooks, T-Shirts and other items on sale.
What YOU can do!
- For a $250 donation you can be a sponsor. Sponsors are listed in all publicity and on the Kennel Caper T-shirt. You also get one of the T-shirts! Donating more will move a sponsor to the top of the list with larger printing on the posters and other advertising.
- Volunteer to help before, during of after the Kennel Caper. Become a Humane Society volunteer year-round. Contact: Angela Kufrovich, Volunteer & Event Coordinator.
- We will be promoting this event in the newspaper, on the radio stations, with flyers and on the local television stations. We will have an ad in the Valdosta Daily Times prior to the Caper.
For 2007, we will have "Monty the fire dog" demonstrating pet safety at 11:00am, the Thunderbird Cloggers performing at 10:30am, the JCS Dance Team performing at 2:30pm, and a clown available for face painting.
