MEMBERSHIP

 

Becoming a member of the Humane Society is easy.  The annual membership fee is only $25.  You can complete the online membership form, or you can visit our office at 307 E. Jane St., Valdosta, Ga. to complete a membership form.

Once you join, you will begin receiving our quarterly newsletter which will keep you informed of upcoming events, animal welfare issues, and other items of special interest.  If you wish to become a participating member of the Humane Society, be sure to indicate that you wish to volunteer on the membership form.  Someone from the Humane Society will contact you about orientation and potential volunteer job opportunities. 

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES FOR MEMBERS

 

We have many volunteer opportunities available through the Humane Society.  Although not all require "hands on" work with animals, every job is important and every job benefits animals.

We can't spell vol ‘u' nteer without "U."  We need YOU to help us make a difference for animals in our community.   To be a volunteer, you must become a member and go through an orientation class.   

If you are interested in volunteering, you can either complete the online membership form or visit our office at 307 E. Jane Street.  OR you can attend one of the orientation classes and join at that time.  Orientation classes are held the second Tuesday of each month from 5:30 - 7:00.
